Meisjes en jongens landbouwschool

Gisteren was het een feestelijke aangelegenheid. Vandaag moet er stevig gewerkt gaan worden, want vandaag worden weer twee scholen bezocht. Omdat onze équipe morgen een lange reis voor de boeg heeft, gaan ze niet mee naar Klagenfurt. Ze sluiten aan bij het programma als Maïté met haar groep terugkomt. Voor Maïté is de school in Klagenfurt wel heel belangrijk. Maïté werkt als lerares Engels en is heel actief met uitwisselingen en zij is speciaal voor deze school meegekomen. Ook werkt ze voor he ministerie van landbouw.
Zo rond de middag gaan ze eerst naar de meisjesschool, waar ze ook lekker gaan eten. Daarna gaan ze naar de jongensschool. Wel heel apart voor ons: aparte jongens- en meisjes landbouwschool. Ik ben benieuwd naar hun ervaringen.

Hallo Thea,

Now I have said good bye to the teachers and students- it was a nice and interesting time with them. I really like them  very much and they did a great job. Today we visited the agricultural schools, had lunch at the girls`school and interesting presentations at the boys`school.  I hope they had a lot of  impressions. It was really nice, that the French boys joined the Dutch girls and boys and they got very familiar with themselves. So it was good that they could stay together.

Maïté did a great job: yesterday she was on the ice, and today she always was with us visiting the schools. It would be nice to meet you one day .. perhaps it's possible. Tomorrow there is departure. Maïté leaves at 7:15 by train to the airport ofSalzburg. Judith and Sanny with their students leave after breakfast at 7:30. I hope they will have a good trip - please inform me, when there are safe at  home.

Next week I will be in Oulu/Finland for a Comenius project- I hope it won`t be so cold.
